What is a MyExpressCheckout?

MyExpressCheckout is a safe, secure, and convenient way to store your address information along with credit and check card information to be used for purchases made at merchants on the Internet. You only have to enter your information once and it can be easily accessed when shopping at participating MyExpressCheckout merchants. Your purchase history is conveniently stored for online review and easy management of your expenditures.


How can I get a MyExpressCheckout account?

When shopping at a participating merchant, you will have the option to create a MyExpressCheckout account as you check out. If you elect to set up a MyExpressCheckout account during your checkout, all of the shipping and billing information can be retained for easy retrieval during future purchases.


Are there any fees for this service?

There is no charge for creating your MyExpressCheckout account or for using it to make purchases at participating merchants. All applicable charges for the credit or check card used as payment may still be assessed by the financial institution that issued the card (i.e., monthly fees, annual fees, transaction fees, interest on outstanding balances, etc.).


How do I use MyExpressCheckout to shop on the Internet?

MyExpressCheckout is used when ready to check out at participating MyExpressCheckout merchants. It is quick, easy and convenient. After providing your User ID and password, your address and credit card information is automatically displayed on the checkout screen. If no changes are necessary, then, with one click, your checkout is complete. It's that easy.


Can I access MyExpressCheckout when I'm not at my own PC?

Because your MyExpressCheckout information is securely stored for you and not on your desktop, you can access your MyExpressCheckout account from any PC with Internet access.


What are the PC requirements to support MyExpressCheckout?

While your MyExpressCheckout account can be accessed with any browser, we recommend using Internet Explorer 3.0 or Netscape 3.0 or higher. You do not need any special software applications to support MyExpressCheckout. You don't need to download any software to your desktop.


What makes MyExpressCheckout safe to use on the Internet?

All of the information contained in MyExpressCheckout is stored securely by B3 Corp., rather than with the online merchant. At no time during the transaction does the merchant have access to your credit card number. We let the merchant know whether or not the purchase was authorized. Additionally, the only way to access your MyExpressCheckout information is by using your User ID and password, known only to you.

Does the merchant have access to MyExpressCheckout information?

The merchant has access to your address information for shipping purposes only. The shipping address is sent to the merchant during an online purchase transaction, but at no other time does the merchant have access to the MyExpressCheckout account holder's address information. The merchant does not ever see the credit card information during the purchase. The merchant just receives notification if the transaction was authorized or not. The merchant may request credit card information from MyExpressCheckout at a later date for dispute resolution purposes, if necessary.


How do I access MyExpressCheckout if I need to make changes?

Once you have created a MyExpressCheckout account, you can access your account to add or change stored information at http://www.myexpresscheckout.com.


How do I add/change/delete an address in MyExpressCheckout?

You can add additional addresses, change existing addresses, change the default shipping address, or delete addresses in your MyExpressCheckout account by accessing the Address Book Summary screen. You can change information in your personal profile by accessing the Update Personal Profile screen. You will have an opportunity to edit your address record during the check-out process as well. You can specify whether this is a one-time override or an update to your MyExpressCheckout record by checking the box on the update screen.


How do I add/change/delete a payment method in MyExpressCheckout?

You can add additional payment methods, change existing payment methods, change the default payment method, or delete payment methods in your MyExpressCheckout account by accessing the Payment Method Summary Screen.


What is the difference between a ship to address and a bill to address?

Ship to addresses indicate where the product purchased with your MyExpressCheckout should be sent. Bill to addresses are associated with each credit or check card in your MyExpressCheckout account. For proper authorization during a purchase, the address used for each payment method in your MyExpressCheckout should be the same as the address on the statement you receive for that card.


Can I delete my entire MyExpressCheckout record?

There is no way to delete your entire MyExpressCheckout record, but you can delete all payment methods and all addresses except your default address from your MyExpressCheckout account.


How do I change my password or security information?

Just access the Change Security Options screen in MyExpressCheckout to change it. You can change your password or any of your security information as often as you like.


Can I change my User ID?

You cannot change the User ID that you selected when you created your MyExpressCheckout account.


What if I forget my User ID or password?

If you forget your User ID, you would need to set up a new MyExpressCheckout account with a new User ID and Password. For security reasons, a customer service representative cannot give you that information.

If you forget your password, you have two options. 1) If you have previously established a keyword question and can give the correct response, you may reset your password online. For added security, you may also be asked to verify payment information stored in your MyExpressCheckout account. 2) You may contact customer service at 1-888-865-5216 to have your password reset. Passwords cannot be reset via email requests.

We recommend that you store a password reminder in your MyExpressCheckout, which can be done on the Change Password screen. Your password reminder should not contain the password itself.


Why is the Key Word Question and Response required?

Your Key Word Question and Response will be used to verify you as the MyExpressCheckout account holder when you contact customer service or if you happen to forget your password and need to reset it online. This added security prevents unauthorized persons from gaining access to the information stored in your MyExpressCheckout account.


Why do I need to select a default shipping address?

The default shipping address is used as your preferred shipping address when you use MyExpressCheckout to make purchases on the Internet. As you shop, you may change the shipping address for any purchase without changing your default. Additionally, you may change the default shipping address in your MyExpressCheckout account at any time by accessing your account and clicking on "Add/Update Address Book".


Why do I need to select a default payment method?

You are not required to store a credit or check card in your MyExpressCheckout account, however if you do store a card(s), the default payment method is used as your preferred payment method when you use MyExpressCheckout to make purchases on the Internet. As you shop, you may change the payment method during any purchase without changing your default. Additionally, you may change the default payment method in your MyExpressCheckout account at any time by accessing your MyExpressCheckout and clicking on "Add/Update Payment Method".


What if I do not have an email address?

All MyExpressCheckout account holders must have an email address. Your email address is used for communication between you and the MyExpressCheckout merchant for order and shipping confirmation. Your email address is also used for correspondence between you and B3 Corp. for notification of special offers and promotions at MyExpressCheckout merchants, communication with customer service for MyExpressCheckout account holders, etc.


Can I store credit/check cards from any bank/financial institution in MyExpressCheckout?

Yes, you may store any credit card or check card.


Can I choose not to store payment information in MyExpressCheckout, but still use its other features?

You do not have to store payment information in your MyExpressCheckout account. You may still store shipping addresses and other personal information that can be easily accessed during a purchase at participating merchants, as well as date reminders and receipt history.


Is there a limit to the number of addresses, payment methods, date reminders or online purchase receipts that can be stored in MyExpressCheckout?

No, your MyExpressCheckout account can store an unlimited number of addresses, payment methods, date reminders and online purchase receipts.


What types of payment methods can I store in MyExpressCheckout?

You can store any credit card or check card.


What if I have a payment method in MyExpressCheckout that the merchant does not accept?

When using your MyExpressCheckout account to check out at participating merchants, only the payment methods stored in your MyExpressCheckout that match to the payment methods the merchant accepts are available to be used for the purchase. Since acceptable payment methods vary by merchant, the list of your payment methods that can be used during any given checkout process could be different from merchant to merchant.


What if I have a question about an order or a product that I purchased with MyExpressCheckout?

For any questions regarding orders or products purchased with your MyExpressCheckout account, you must contact the merchant where the purchase was made.
